Rob Struthers and Katie Breckenridge started selling their certified organic
beef in 2002. The cows are grazed from the hills of Picabo on the B Bar B Ranch to the protected gullies and
reservoirs of the Horseshoe S Ranch in Fairfield and West Magic. All the lands are certified organic by the
State of Idaho. Organic hay is grown on the B Bar B Ranch and is fed to the cows during the
winter.

Organic grain is purchased from the grain growers on
the Camas Prairie, rolled at Black Cat Pellet in Gooding and hand fed to the steers during the winter and spring
months. The steers are harvested during the months of May and June.

Individuals can purchase beef in an assorted quarter
(approximately 150 lbs.), a half or a whole carcass. Stockman’s Custom Meats harvest the steers on the ranch and
the carcass’s hang for a minimum of two weeks in their cold storage facility. Customers give them instructions as
to how they want their meat cut and wrapped and pick up their meat from their Gooding
plant.
